A membrane switch is an operating system that integrates button functions, indicator components, and instrument panels. It consists of four parts: panel, upper circuit, isolation layer, and lower circuit.
Press the contact of the circuit on the thin film switch to deform downwards, and the contact with the lower circuit and the board is conductive. After releasing the finger, the contact of the upper circuit rebounds back, and the circuit opens, triggering a signal in the circuit. The thin film switch has a rigorous structure, beautiful appearance, and good sealing performance. It has the characteristics of moisture resistance and long service life. Widely used in electronic communication, electronic measurement instruments, industrial control, medical equipment, automotive industry, smart toys, household appliances and other fields.
The membrane switch is mainly composed of facial mask, facial mask adhesive, upper circuit, isolation layer, lower circuit and adhesive. The structure is as shown in "membrane switch structure". The facial mask layer, upper line layer and lower line layer are transparent films, and the main materials used are PC, PET and PVC. The facial mask backing, isolation layer and backing layer are made of double-sided adhesive.
When the facial mask layer is not pressed down, the isolation layer will isolate the upper and lower lines. When the facial mask layer is pressed down, the upper lines will be pressed down together and overlapped with the lower lines to make the lines connected. The connected lines will signal the external connecting instruments (set by the customer) to achieve their corresponding functions.
